Tofu Ink Arts Press, a not for profit celebratory venture, is the brainchild of poet Brian L. Jacobs. Tofu Ink aims at publishing poems and other arts of un humdrum’d inclusive rhizomatic errant possibilities. We support work of established and emerging poets and artists. We strive for tri annual issues. We are looking for polished art and poetics that are absorbed in possibilities. We are committed to amplifying voices of the under-represented and marginalized. Submissions Open For 2023
All 2024 submissions must be made via our Submittable page. We are seeking 1-3 polished poems or art of any style of less than 5 pages (12 font Times New Roman, single spaced). Your name must appear on the work. Include a title page with list of work titles. Please provide a brief bio in third person. Please allow about one to two months for a response. We are usually pretty quick in response. All work must be contained in one document. Each new poem or art piece should start on a new page. Due to our large amount of submissions, we cannot respond or provide feedback to everyone. We do our best to be prompt. We acquire first North American serial rights upon acceptance. This includes the right to publish your material on our website as well as a possible future print edition, with permission. The author retains all rights of their work of course. Art work should be JPEG.

Please submit on Submittable. The final visionary winning poem will receive Chapbook publication. Up to three additional visionary poems may be awarded "Honorable Mention" status and will also be featured on Tofu Ink. All winners will receive one piece of Tofu Ink fashion. Poems will be considered for publication in Tofu Ink, regardless of whether they place in the contest. The winning poems will be nominated for the Pushcart Prize.

You can only enter one poem no longer than three pages. and it must be submitted as .doc, .docx, with your name, title, 12 Font Times New Roman & single spaced. Only poems which have not been previously published in any form are eligible for consideration. Multiple entries are permissible, however, each entry require a separate fee. All entry fees are non-refundable. No further edits will be allowed to poems once they have been submitted. No Translations please of others’ work. Only poems submitted with an awards fee will be eligible for prize consideration. The contest winner will be announced November 2024.
